Lori's Story

Before I lost over 107 pounds


By the age of six, I was overweight. 
 

Unlike today, there weren't many overweight children in the early 1970s.  I can recall only two girls in my school who I thought were obese.  I was one of them.


By twelve, I weighed more than 200 pounds and wore a size 16.  At age of 18 my weight climbed to 225 pounds.  When I reached 27 I reached 243 pounds.  I had spent nine years fluctuating between 180 and 242 pounds. 


I had already battled high blood pressure for years.  Now I faced a serious decision:  lower it with drugs or lose weight.  My blood sugar was also elevated.  If I didn't lose weight I would become diabetic.  I couldn't even walk up the stairs without feeling winded.

 

That was it; I knew I had to get healthy.

Whether you would like to be a size 6 or 16 (or for men a 34 or 44), “Personal Trainer” is designed to help you meet your personal fitness goals.

 

It will encourage you to workout with weights and resistance products to add muscle mass and decrease fat mass.  The more muscle mass you have, the higher your metabolism becomes for up to 48 hours after a workout, thus burning more calories.

Change Your World Fitness believes this is the key to success and a healthy body, improved weight and body image.

Change Your World Fitness is about becoming healthy, no matter what size your are!  In fact, it has very little to do with size at all. What it really means is achieving your own personal best in mind, body, and spirit.  See "How to Get Started".
